Account Deletion Policy for MRC Global Pay

At MRC Global Pay, we respect your right to delete your account and personal data. This Account Deletion Policy outlines the process for requesting account deletion and what happens to your data once the request is processed.

1. Requesting Account Deletion
If you wish to delete your MRC Global Pay account, please follow these steps:

Open the App: Log in to your MRC Global Pay account on the mobile app.
Navigate to Settings: Go to the account settings section.
Submit a Request: Find and select the option to delete your account. Follow the prompts to submit your deletion request.
Contact Support: Alternatively, you can contact our customer support team at support@mrcglobalpay.com or call +1 (800) 123-4567 to request account deletion.
2. Verification Process
To protect your privacy and security, we may require you to verify your identity before processing your deletion request. This may include:

Providing Identification: Submitting a copy of your ID or other verification documents.
Answering Security Questions: Confirming information related to your account.
3. Processing Time
Once we receive and verify your request, we will process your account deletion within 30 days. You will receive a confirmation email once the deletion is complete.

4. Data Retention
Upon account deletion:

Personal Information: All personal information associated with your account will be deleted or anonymized in our active databases.
Transaction Records: We may retain certain transaction records and other data as required by law, for accounting, or for audit purposes.
Backup Systems: Data stored in our backup systems will be deleted according to our regular backup maintenance schedule.
5. Effects of Account Deletion
Access: You will no longer be able to log in to your account or access any features of MRC Global Pay.
Services: All ongoing transactions and services linked to your account will be terminated.
Irreversibility: Account deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. If you wish to use MRC Global Pay again, you will need to create a new account.
6. Legal Obligations
We may retain certain information if necessary to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, enforce our agreements, or as otherwise permitted by law.
